Actuarial Intern

Job Description

  • This internship will give you the opportunity to be involved in various internal projects with a strong focus on data collection and analysis.
  • Full time/part time (at least 3 days/week) from June 2022,preferably for at least 6 months.

    Responsibilities

    • Support experience studies on lapse and claims experience of inforce/renewal/new business
    • Create and manage efficient processes to compile data, study historical experience, store the results, and produce outputs that are easy to use including but not limited to:
      • Data exploration and data transformation
      • Data cleansing
      • Data analytics

      Qualifications

      Experience:

      • Previous working experience or internship in a similar environment is not required but will be advantageous;
      • Strong analytic skill;
      • Strong programming skill;

      Personal Competences:

      • Team player;
      • Organized and Multitasking;
      • Motivated, optimistic and dynamic;
      • Result oriented;
      • Creative and dynamic;
      • Strong interpersonal skills

      Proficiency:

      • Microsoft suite office;
      • Coding experience (R, Python, SQL, VBA, Tableau)
      • Excellent oral and written skills in English.

      Education:

      • 3rd or final year pursuing BBA with a major in Actuarial, Mathematics, Statistics, etc.
