About the role

Role description:

We are looking for a results-oriented and robust teammate to strengthen the Performance Management Hub (PMH) Life & Health FP&A team

The core responsibilities of the role are:
  • Increasing analytics capability of the team through bringing multiple data sources into the Palantir platform
  • Prototyping new sophisticated analytics from concept to implementation to give insights into the Life &Health business
  • Analysing L&H business to better understand the profitability across the product lifecycle
  • Creating standardised visualisation of the key data stories and business messages to support senior executives in driving the organization
  • Make sure data is comprehensive, complete and well understood
  • Being flexible and adaptive to work on quickly emerging ad-hoc tasks
  • working in close collaboration with colleagues in Finance, Business Management and Underwriting on topics related to Economic Value Management and US GAAP
  • Communicate results in a way that is easily understood by people not dealing on an every-day basis with data/reports
About the team

Within Reinsurance Finance, our team is responsible for financial analysis and planning for the L&H Reinsurance worldwide with a focus on Economic Valuations and US GAAP.

From our data and our network in the company we aim to provide senior management with key insights into business performance, guiding them to make accurate and impactful decisions.

We also act as a CFO function for the Head of L&H Products and Head of L&H Business Management.

Finally, we work closely with the pricing and actuarial teams across the globe to ensure quality of the financial information as well as insights from our data and analysis.

About You
  • Overall, 2 -4 years of working experience in L&H (re-)insurance analytics, actuarial or similar function
  • Successfully completed university degree, preferably in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Natural Science, Finance or equivalent
  • Good Progress on Actuarial exams would be preferred
  • Strong interest in/motivation to learn about insurance/reinsurance
  • Strong analytical/data processing skills and methodological/conceptual understanding, coding experience a plus
