About the Role
As part of the Business Management team in the Americas, you will responsible for all facets of A&H Valuation for closed block of business (Admin Re). Responsibilities in details are:

- Perform timely and accurate US STAT/GAAP/Swiss Stat/EVM quarterly valuation and reporting of Admin Re A&H business
- Produce timely and accurate deliverables including external coinsurance reports and annual statement exhibits.
- Support the advancement of planning and earnings analysis techniques to deliver transparent insights on business performance on all valuation basis
- Run and maintain AXIS models and incorporate improvements as needed
- Support experience studies on DI business and analyze and report to management on actual to expected variances
- Support the premium rate increase filing work on Critical Illness business as needed
- Actively work with data providers to seek clarifications and sort out data issues.
- Modify existing documentation and controls if needed to reflect changes in reporting.
- Support ad-hoc internal clients as needed (Finance, Legal, compliance, management)
- Maintain SOX compliance and address external auditor request.
About the Team (Position Summary)
You will be part of the US Reinsurance actuarial reserving team. We are responsible for determining the technical reserves at adequate levels meeting all local statutory and US GAAP requirements along with Swiss Re internal EVM valuation basis.
In addition, the Company offers an Actuarial Development Program (ADP) that provides students with study time and financial incentives to progress through your Actuarial Exams, so long as you continue to qualify.
About You (Requirement)
You have
- A University degree or equivalent
- At least 3-4 SOA Actuarial Exam
- Understanding of DI insurance products is preferred
- 2-3 years of actuarial experience in costing, experience analysis, valuation and/or assumption development is preferred
- Excellent technological skills including Microsoft Office products, in particular Excel and Access
- Experience in AXIS is good to have
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Very strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Detail and deadline oriented.
- A healthy level of attention to detail
