Actuarial Manager

Actuarial Manager - £35,000 - £60,000

This role would suit someone who is looking to join a new team within Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) which is one of the largest growth areas in the UK insurance market.

The role is to support Aviva’s continued success and growth ambitions in this market, we are crafting a new focused actuarial change team to develop and maintain a robust, efficient actuarial reporting capability thereby supporting the ongoing change portfolio for BPA business and ensuring the continuing the accuracy and business understanding of BPA Financial Reporting results.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Ideally a qualified actuary

  • Strong understanding of financial reporting metrics including IFRS and Solvency II.

  • Understanding of annuity/bulk purchase annuity products beneficial

  • Experience of running actuarial models

  • Proactive and can work independently with good communication skills

What you’ll get for this role:

  • Starting salary between £35,000 – £60,000 depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications
