Main tasks/activities/responsibilities (in brief statements describe the main accountabilities of the job and specify responsibilities)

  • To setup and maintain inputs, organising results for developing it into further reports, assessment of quality, validation of results.
  • To support in development and testing of Actuarial Costing Tools main focus on CPT.
  • Use of Actuarial Basis – Shareholder Reporting Rules (EVM), USGAAP for model development and its testing.
  • Develop and improve testing tools.
  • To apply technical knowledge and process skills to solve problems and develop solutions, i.e. investigating and interpreting data issues/ results.
  • Support on documenting and communication of outcomes and results to senior colleagues in the team.
  • Question existing processes & suggest improvements.
  • Added advantage if knowledge of advanced coding skills mainly R Prog, C#.

Job requirements (education, linguistic ability, professional experience, leadership qualities, soft skills)

  • 0- Work Experience (Freshers only)
  • Graduate or Post-graduate in Business Mgt/Insurance/Actuarial Science/Mathematics/Statistics.
  • Minimum 3 Actuarial Exams passed as per new curriculum.
  • Understand the basic insurance concepts and data analytics tools.
  • Ability to work accurately and deliver to deadlines.
  • Must be able to interpret business specs and ask clarifying questions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong learning motive.
  • Proficiency in working with Ms Office, Advanced Coding Skills- R Prog, C#.
