Actuarial R Coder
We are recruiting for an Actuarial R Coder to join us our team on a fixed term contract until the end of 2023 (with the possibility of extension). This is a great job for someone who has numerical ability as specific experience in actuarial or insurance work is not necessary.
A bit about the job:
This role is key to the business as the post holder will work in a small innovative team to build tools and improve processes in the wider actuarial area. You will develop new techniques for automating actuarial decisions and give guidance to novice and intermediate R coders to improve standards across the team!
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Familiarity with Shiny is preferable
- Experience of writing high quality R code
- Ability to develop new techniques for automating actuarial decisions
- The ability to work collaboratively with business users and other coders

- Starting salary of up to £65,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
